I am now 74 and have been listening to you since I was 10. Nobody plays piano or sings like Jerry Lee. The haunting cry in your voice comes from your soul. No one even comes close to you man… you will always be remembered as the greatest.
Mr. Lewis, I have loved your music since I was a young boy, I love your all your contemporaries, especially Elvis. There should be a movie made about you two. I loved reading your book as well. It was incredibly interesting and funny. Your childhood antics remind me of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn because you were always getting into a bit of trouble. By the way, I just have to tell you that your live album, “Live at The Star Club, Hamburg” is probably- no it IS the finest example of rock ‘n’ roll ever recorded. I am studying History in college right now and plan on taking a class on the history of rock music. I hope we get to talk about you and if we don’t I’ll be sure to bring you up every chance I get.
My daddy was born the same year as the Killer, and shared his love for him with me and my siblings. I have educated my children to his one-of-a-kind talent. The Killer will live forever.

Jerry Lee, I grew up on rock and roll and remember your early songs but then you had that long period when you were blocked on the radio. I was just hitting high school then. What a shame to have missed those years of you singing and playing piano! I finally re-discovered you and am amazed at the genius of you ‘the musician’. I read your book ‘JLL: His Own Story’ twice this year and I listen to all your music on YouTube or DVD! I wish I could understand or you could explain the magic of your talent. I wonder if even you understand it. To watch your hands on the keyboard is amazing. To hear your singing talent -with all the originality of Jerry Lee – is unbelievable. Yeah, you had Elvis, Johnny Cash, and all others beat. I am praying for your health and am thankful for what your music has meant to me. You have helped me overcome a very rough period in my own life. I was born in 1976 but have loved his music since I was about 10 years old and heard his songs on the oldies station. When I was a teenager I began collecting his music and I’m still collecting more today! We love you Jerry!
