The last of the Rock n Rollers is gone. I read the other day Thursday that Jerry was dead, but then I read this was not true, then this morning on the TV news, Jerry died this Friday morning Oct 28, 2022. I have the SUN 45 RPM ” Great Balls of Fire”. I’m 69, a very Sad Boomer, we are losing so many Musicians, TV and Movie Stars. We only have two Beatles, Paul and Ringo, The Stones lost their drummer,Charlie last year. The Music that is out now isn’t very good. Rock On.
When we all get to heaven, what a wonderful day that will be…. Jerry Lee Lewis was THE reason I started playing and creating music. There will NEVER be another like Jerry Lee.

I always called Jerry Lee Lewis my boyfriend. He will always be my number 1 musician. He had it all and I will continue to practice playing like him. I know I won’t come close. No one can come close. He was just the superman of piano to me. I don’t think there will ever be another like him. To quote the old saying, God broke the mold when he made Jerry Lee. Peace and love to his wife and family. You’re all in my prayers.
I’m so sorry about Jerry he was surly one of a kind and what a talent. Hey J.W. we surly enjoyed him together so many times especally at the famous Country Western Palomino Club in L. .A. I surely hope God has treated you all well through out the years and everything is well with you all. Such fond memories to say the least to have partied with the Killer in my lifetime not to many can say that!! Be well – Best – Joey
I’m 65 and have been a fan since I was 12. I’ll be there soon, killer, there will never be another like you. Likewise, I hope you know you were loved. Best damn piano player that ever lived, period. You were a gift from god. Geez I miss you already. “This old world is made a little brighter by the lives of folks like you” RIP the true king of rock and roll. But The Killer could do it all. Country, Rock, Blues, didn’t matter. More talent than he knew what to do with. Judith, my deepest sympathies and love to all his family in your time of loss. Probably happy to see his mama, thanks for all the thrills’ Jerry Lee.
