it was a big mentor to me back in the seventies 380s I am professional show drummer in vogelist and I got my middle name the killer on the drums from a saxophone player friend of mine from the early seventies I am still playing today and will always be a big fan of the killer have all of his records keep on rocking Jerry
I saw him in a Washington DC concert, he was older than… had to lift up his leg w his arm to get his boot onto the keys. And he played for hours, the house was packed. The dude was a wild man loaded w talent, said rocknroll was just boogie-woogie w a new name. Bo Diddley, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis… long live these giants!
Jerry Lee’s music is my essential daily companion. He is truly a one-off genius, both voice and piano. I love the way he makes me feel good, no matter what. Jerry Lee, thank you for your music ❤️
My brother, rest his soul, started playing Jerry Lee’s music in 1958. He got me started, and then I started listening to sun records of Jerry Lee my mother got me. She was a fan too! I’m not as good as him, but I can play almost every song he did. I’ve been playing in a band since 1974. Thanks to my brother and Jerry Lee Lewis. Before you killer, rock ‘n roll was starting, but Piano sounded like elevator music. Jerry Lee Lewis is rock ‘n’ roll keyboard period. God bless you. I love you Jerry. 🎹✝️❤️
Jerry Lee Lewis did what many aspire to do yet never come close. Rather he knew or not, he became immortal. For the memory of the piano slaying rocker will be remembered forever. Thank you for the music that has gotten us through so many of our days.
My husband and I lived in Memphis two summers working to go back to college at Henderson, Tn. and in 1956 the last summer we lived there Jerry Lewis and Elvis both came on board. Jerry was a great piano player and singer. I still play his music and there was no one like Jerry! I loved his music and still do and I am 87 yrs. old and his music makes me come alive. I never could dance but his music made me want to. I just lost my husband of 70 yrs. this past May 2022 and he too had a major stroke but lived 3 yrs. after the stroke. My son-in–law taught him to walk with a cane and walker and I was his major care giver.for 3 and 1/2 yrs. I never left the house except to go to church and took my husband. He, too, was in a wheelchair. I feel so alone and sometimes feel unloved. I have 3 children who love me and lost a 17 yr. old son in 1971. That almost killed me he drowned at the Lake of the Ozarks. My husband had taught him to fly and he drowned while learning to water ski. To Jerry’s family I offer my condolences to a great performer and I loved, loved, his music. .I just stopped and said a prayer for his family. May God wrap his arms around all of you and give you comfort.
I love been listening to every song that Jerry have recorded. I listen to his music every day and I know all the lyrics by heart. I never get tired. I just makes me feel good, happy and relaxed. I am proud to know him and have met him. Jerry Lee is everything to me.
One time I met a group of people in my home town Gothenburg Sweden that practiced to become mucisions. I told them, that they were not needed because of Jerry Lee Lewis excisted.. They looked at me with open mouths and asked; who are you? Said, I am a Jerry Lee Lewis fan. Then they said; who the hell is that Jerry Lee Lewis?. I said; The only needed and walked away.

Rest well. You changed the world for the better and you’ve earned that star in the sky.
Jerry Lee, your music uplifts me like no one else’s, you will always be the greatest rockandroller! Bless you, and I hope you are happy wherever you are now!!
Thank you Jerry Lee for all of your great music. We went to one of you concerts in the late 90s in Shreveport LA. Sold out show. You are the King of Rock N Roll as far as I’m concerned.
I saw this guy in his prime. Folly Beach Pier, about ‘65 or ‘66, date with a little blonde named Missy, he shook that building! Ended up standing on the piano, pointing at the ceiling. Match this rock and roll night, no way. Rest in Peace, one of a kind
Thank you very much for the music you played. God blessed you in so many ways. You touched many lives with your music. You are in heaven now, but your music and memories live on.

Lately, I have been listening to Jerry Lee’s classics most days.
At 74, somehow they define my life and I fight back tears every time I listen.
It’s great his voice and others are now immortal.
On my death bed I hope I can have his songs playing.
