The last time I saw JLL was at his 65th birthday celebrations. Although looking tired once he hit those Piano keys he was though he was transported back to the 50’s again
I met Jerry Lee backstage at a show in Omaha Nebraska in 1956. he had his arms around two
girls shoulders. unfortunately my camera failed when I took the picture. He put on a great show.
He’s a real COOL CAT
I first saw Jerry Lee Lewis live on stage at the Birmingham Odeon,in the U.K, 1977. I would like to see the photo shoot for Jerry Lee’s 1965 album ‘Country Songs For City Folks’. Bear Family had the original photo of Jerry Lee, standing up by a tree. Whilst I’m here, what about releasing a Coffee table book of Jerry Lee’s album sleeves. I particularly like the ‘Louisiana Man’ cover which Mercury in France put out in1969.

I sat in the front row on the grass at about 18 feet from Jerry in 1987 and was amazed at his every move. He had no reverence for man nor beast and had some one-off DNA. Had the most talent possible. I now live in Thailand and brought his music with me and still love his energetic approach as the best ever.
I went to Brussels, Belgium, to watch him giving his last concert in my country. That was great.

I bought his records in my early teens and I admire his style of rock and roll!
