JERRY I enjoyed for a very long time and again .. in my memories, I was 15 years old when I was summoned to the police, because a neighbor found that I listened to the music too loud, and that it was rock’roll .. What con .. currently aged 67 I made discover JLL to my 7 children. I live in France, and there are still a lot of fans !!
I saw you on stage in Dayton, OH in late 1950s and have been a fan before and since. Still have lots of your music from 45 records, LP’s, cassettes, and CDs. Went to your place on Beale St hoping to see you a couple yrs ago. Hope you are in good health.
As I right this, I’m listening to “Promised Land,” and man…nothing beats that rock feel you put into the piano, the microphone, and the whole song. I may be 28 years old, but my folks did right in playing your wonderful music while growing up. You’re an original. You’re an American icon. Long live The Killer. Keep on killing it. Much love.
When I was maybe five years old (which would have been 1960), my mom suggested to my dad that he should spend a day with just me, rather than including my older brother. My dad tossed me in the station wagon and headed south towards the Jersey shore.
At some point on the trip, I noticed a billboard advertising a show you were putting on that very afternoon. I was so excited! I was a little fuzzy on why one of my favorite comedians was now using his middle name, but I emphatically told Dad that I wanted to see Jerry Lewis. He agreed and away we went.
My next memory of the occasion was waking up on the drive home. According to Dad’s report to my mom on the events of the day, I had fallen asleep during the concert (!!) and my 35-year old WWII vet dad had been very upset over the artist on stage having so mistreated his piano – he even kicked it!
Years later, I became a big rock’n’roll fan. My guess is that I heard your performance loud and clear, and absorbed it in all its glory, while I napped.
Dear Sir, for me you are and will always be ‘the killer’. I grew up with your songs, and love them ’til today.
Now that we both get a little older (but never calmer I hope?), I sincerely hope that I can see one of your shows soonest when I am back home, in Dixie. Right now I am in Jakarta, Indonesia and we are having 94 F here.
Twenty something musician and Jerry Lee adhere here from sunny CA, your music still inspires not only originality in new players out there but performance as an art as well. Nobody did it like your Mr. Killer. Hope you tour again in CA in 2019 as I missed out this past year!
I want to create the u;timate artwork of the great man if that is ok. His energy sums up rick’n’roll spirit. Would love the opportunity to create magic.
HI Mr Lewis, just wanted to say that I’ve been a fan for many years. After a decade, I will finally see you in concert this month!!! Cant wait to hear you live and I hope you will be playing great balls of fire as that is one of my favorite
Jerry Lee , I saw you in Manchester, England back in 1980….Loved your music from being a boy…I’m taking a vacation in Memphis and New Orleans this year and you will be a big part of it…God bless you sir!
Hello, my name is Carla Irving and I am from Jacksonville Illinois and I am 70 years old. I have been a fan of Jerry Lee Lewis for years and have never gotten to see him. I am hoping to be able to see him this summer and take my daughter and grandson as we listen to Jerry Lee Lewis’s tapes all the time. We love all the music, the rock and roll, and the slow country that he sings. We have them all. I think he is one of the greatest musicians there ever was. Getting to hear him in person and getting his autograph is on my bucket list. Thank you for your music Jerry Lee!
Jerry Lee as a kid growing up I heard a lot of your music. It is interesting how you wrote a lot of your songs and what a success you were and still are. I know a lot of your life was just showmanship, yet I wonder if you really had that much fun as it looks like? I do wonder though being from a very religious family, how you feel today about your lifestyle and if you regret any of your life’s moments? I am not saying you were wrong not my job to judge you, just wondering that is all. Do you still believe in God and his Son Jesus still after being on the road away from your upbringing?
I am 52 years old and a new fan after catching a documentary on YouTube. Wow, what an extraordinary life and gift to the world! God bless you, Mr. Lewis.
Wow you are hands down the greatest country music singer of all time. No one brings across the deep down sorrow and pain of a heart break or breaking someone you loves heart and cheating. The deep hurt you channel is unmatched I listen to your album with what made Milwaukee famous and another place another time on repeat
Nearly everyday . Thank you so much for all your influence I am a player myself . God bless you

Dear Jerry Lee –
I have a true story that I bet you will love.
When I was maybe five years old (which would have been 1960), my mom suggested to my dad that he should spend a day with just me, rather than including my older brother. My dad tossed me in the station wagon and headed south towards the Jersey shore.

Years later, I became a big rock’n’roll fan. My guess is that I heard your performance loud and clear, and absorbed it in all its glory, while I napped.
Your fan,
